It's been more than 20 years since our founders, Jay and Carol, first began purchasing custom-made furniture for their own home from independent craftsmen in the small towns of rural America. That pursuit led to a custom furniture gallery, and then several.

But it soon became apparent that the best way to conveniently link families who appreciate solid-wood handcrafted furniture with the American artisans who make it, would be a website. It seems simplistic, but that is essentially the idea behind Furniture-Craftsmen.com.

We represent the works of more than 70 American craftsmen. Because our furniture is custom-made exactly to your specifications and delivered directly to your home, we're able to offer discounts of approximately 40% below showroom prices. Since Furniture-Craftsmen.com provides the customer service, design consultation, logistics and marketing, our craftsmen are able to concentrate on what they do best – handcrafting furniture.
